As a result of discussion at our Autumn/Winter Programme evening we have set up the following programme which will come on stream during November 2010.
First Thursday of the Month – Assigned Task for that month 18:00 -19:30 and Milford session 19:30 – 20:00
Second Thursday of the Month – Free form 18:00 -19:30 and Milford session 19:30 – 20:00
Third Thursday of the Month – The Town Project 18:00 -19:30 and Milford session 19:30 – 20:00
Forth Thursday of the Month – Free form 18:00 -19:30 and Milford session 19:30 – 20:00
Special sessions will be organised for March 31st, June 39th, and September 29th 2011 – Detail to be announced nearer the time.
Further details of the Town Project willl be posted soon.

Frontier Writers lynchpin Alexander J. Cunningham (aka, Sandy) has created a blog for his upcoming children’s novel, Mirror Realm. The cover for the anthology was meant to be a burnished gold effort, but when the proof copies came in the pixels looked poor. So, in order to keep the project on track for the launch night on 20th November the decision was taken to invert the original gold and black design. James A. Stewart and Danny O’Connor have both made it into the sixth edition of the acclaimed Chimeraworld anthology series. Danny’s Bankrupt Heriocs is immediately followed by James’ Malthus Was Right in the 180 page collection. There are 23 new stories featured. The second Anthology of work from Frontier Writers will be launched on 20th November 2009. The event will take place in the Muirfield Centre, Brown Road, Seafar, Cumbernauld. G67. From 7pm till 10pm
Directions by car from George Square, Glasgow
By bus From Buchanan street: Take buses X3, X37, or X39 and get off at the bus stop after the Town Centre (beside Dovecote Beefeater restaurant) the Muirfield Centre is a few moments walk and is situated behind the Dovecote and local police station.

Well, they are here! The final proofs are in and will be reviewed this week and the big order will take place later in the week.
And the good news is that we should have them in time for the launch night on 20th November.
Catherine has confirmed with Gordon that the 20th is free and arranging a license is all in hand. So, get yer gladrags out and the babysitters (where applicable) arranged.

The proof copies of the Anthology are here. We will be looking for all accepted contributors to sign off on the content to ensure you are happy to proceed. A further reviewing of formatting will take place thereafter and the book will be ready by early November.

All submissions are in, and the proof copies are ordered. Some 220 pages of poetry and prose. There are over 60 pieces in there.
Expectations are a launch night on 20th November. Excited?
