Anthology Cover

The cover for the anthology was meant to be a burnished gold effort, but when the proof copies came in the pixels looked poor. So, in order to keep the project on track for the launch night on 20th November the decision was taken to invert the original gold and black design. If you want to get a sneak preview of the cover, click here.

August and everything after…

•August 14, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Well, the month of August is a pretty laconic period. Not so for the Frontier Writers. The only things that stop us meeting are Christmas and elections (don’t ask).

New this month, and mentioned before on the blog previously, is the sale of Gutter. This features the wonderful work of Catherine Baird.

Click on this link to find out about a mystery member I found when surfing the web tonight. I was trying to find a link to poem published on the Lyric site, but this is better.

A transient friend has returned to visit us for a while – Samuel McCann, welcome back.

Work continues apace on the anthology. There have been a few accepts, a few maybes and a fair few “naws!”.
